SOC Meeting March 1st 2010

   Hi folks 

The next SOC indoor meeting is on Monday, 1st March. 
The subject is : 'Swanning around Scotland and Ireland: the Whooper Story'             

The speaker is Chris Spray, a well known ecologist, currently at Dundee University. 

Chris is a wetland ecologist by training and a swan enthusiast by choice , having studied Whooper and Mute Swans at Aberdeen University.  He has since worked in variety of environmental roles and has served as a trustee/council member on a number of bodies such as the RSPB and BTO.

The meeting is at the Sportsmans Club, 11 Queens Road, Aberdeen (just two doors down from the Dutch Mill pub) at 7.30pm. Bar available.
